In addition, the base Sorento LX trim now offers the optional UVO powered by Microsoft voice-activated infotainment system based on the Windows Embedded Automotive platform. The Sorento offers three engines: an advanced 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder engine providing class-leading 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft. of torque; a 3.5-liter V6 providing class-leading 276 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque; and the affordable 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower and 169 lb.-ft. of torque.
All engines are coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic shifting control. To further meet consumer needs, there is a choice of either front- or all-wheel-drive configurations.
